Vocalist Gerri Trimble's sound could be described as direct, emotive and personal - influenced by the great jazz singers she loves such as Carmen McRae, Sheila Jordan and Nancy Wilson - but also by blues and classic country. After a bit of time as a musical nomad, Gerri found her way to jazz in Ottawa where she has been lucky enough to perform with many talented instrumentalists. A musical outing with Gerri promises a lot of humour, a bit of adventure, and a mix of well-loved and rarer (mostly) jazz tunes.
